Singapore Airshow Aviation Leadership Summit

The SINGAPORE AIRSHOW AVIATION LEADERSHIP SUMMIT, held in conjunction with the Singapore Airshow, is a collaborative effort by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), Experia Events Pte Ltd, International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Ministry of Transport (MOT).

This global event brings together key aviation stakeholders for a frank exchange of views on key issues and challenges facing aviation. The Summit offers a unique platform for airlines, airport operators, air navigation service providers, and manufacturers to dialogue with government and regulatory leaders.

The first decade of this century challenged aviation in unprecedented ways. Whether securing aviation against terrorism, battling weak economies and rising fuel prices, modernizing processes to deliver greater value to customers, or developing global commitments on climate change, one common theme has emerged from the industry’s recent history: success was greatest when all stakeholders worked together for a common purpose.

Aviation’s resilience will no doubt continue to be challenged. To shape a successful future for an industry that drives $3.5 trillion in economic benefits, we need to enhance cooperation, drive positive change, and overcome obstacles.
